Maurice White and Earth Wind and Fire

The Ottawa Citizen reviews Earth Wind and Fire in preparation of a performance there.

Maurice White played drums and he became a session musician for Chicago-based Chess Records, which specialized in blues, R&B, soul, gospel music, early rock and roll, and occasionally jazz. Maurice played with everyone from Muddy Waters to Buddy Guy to Etta James to soul-jazz pianist Ramsey Lewis.
