Blues singer Lee Baker Jr. (Lonnie Brooks) was born on December 18, 1933 and is still living. He was discovered in the early 1950s by Clifton Chenier. He moved to Chicago in the 1960s finding work as a session musician backing artists such as Jimmy Reed, as well as making his own recordings for a number of labels including Chess. He continues to perform, appearing in the film Blues Brothers 2000, and in television commercials. “One Sunny Day” also appeared on the Chirrup label.
