Betty James

Betty James was a blues singer in Baltimore. In 1961 she was picked up by New York label Cee-Jay who recorded her with her husband on guitar and her son on bass. The recording was picked up by Chess for national distribution. Chess issued six recordings by her. We do not have any further information about Betty James, and have not been able to locate a photograph, but understand the lady is still alive.
