The Gay Singers

The Gay Singers are a famous family gospel group and were sisters Evelyn, Mildred and Geraldine Gay. The Gay family began on radio and recordings in the early 1940s, appearing at the Carnegie Hall, New York in 1952. The Checker singles were released towards the end of their career. There was also a brother, Donald, who became a preacher.
