The Kendall Sisters, who recorded for Argo Records, were real sisters. They were Paulina Kendall (“Polly”, who died of Parkinson’s Disease on November 18, 2005) and Dolores Kendall of Ohio. Their musical career began in the 1930s. They started by singing country and gospel music. After a number of years on radio they graduated to television in the 1940s. Their final hit was “Yea yea” in 1958. They have been inducted into the Polka hall of fame. No photographs of the Kendall Sisters have been located.
